The DuraWater Iron Eater filter is our top selling iron filter and utilizes air injection to oxidize the iron and hydrogen sulfide (which causes the rotten egg smell). When iron is oxidized it is much easier to filter out of the water by the iron blend media and once hydrogen sulfide is oxidized the gas is released inside the filter instead of inside of your home. It uses a digital HD duraline control valve, it ships loaded for easier installation and comes standard with a stainless steel bypass.
We carry a wide variety of iron filters, including fleck green sand, katalox, air injector terminators which are only compatible with wells using a submersible pump, as well as birm iron filters.
